I had a vision of this painting before I created it. I knew I wanted a moth rather than a butterfly to give it a more earthy feel. There’s a gust of wind blowing the stags mane and catching the moth, which adds movement to the piece.
30x30cm or 45x45cm, this is the image size inside the white border left for mount.
