‘Respect Your Elders’ – 50% Donation to ‘Turtle Island Restoration Network’

A3 print of a Turtle, taken from an original watercolour and fineliner painting which was selected to hang at the ‘David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year’ exhibition, 2015. From hundreds of international applicants only 150 were put on display at the prestigious Mall Galleries in Pall Mall, London.

This painting is so named because even though turtles have been around for millions of years, much longer than us humans, we have allowed them to become endangered. We must learn to respect and protect our elders.

With our ocean’s coral reefs and wildlife at risk from pollution, overfishing, climate change and more, this month I will be donating 50% of profits from the sale of this print to Turtle Island Restoration Network, to help them in their mission to ‘mobilise people in local communities around the world, protecting marine wildlife and the oceans and inland watersheds that sustain them’. Sounds good to me!

Nearly all species of Turtle are endangered – we need healthy oceans in order to have healthy turtles so if you’re thinking of purchasing this print then this month is a great time to do it! A turtle-y amazing move for shore…..

International Shipping is available, if you can’t find your country please contact me directly before you place your order and I will research postage details for you!
